It’s worth noting that Prince Charles was questioned by Scotland Yard over Princess Diana’s eyebrow-raising claim in her letter to the butler that basically alleges her ex-husband would have had something to do with her death (via The U.S. Sun). Clearly the note was taken seriously, but its existence is not the only proof that the beloved royal somehow believed she would die before her time.
According to Express, Princess Diana was convinced she would not survive to see her sons grow up. As such, the royal reportedly created audio tapes for Prince William and Prince Harry to listen to after she died. A source told OK, “She told me she made the tapes for the day she wouldn’t be around to help guide her boys.”
The same source claimed, “As incredible as it was, Diana knew she was going to die young” and noted the philanthropic mom of two was keyed into “the spirit world and psychic events.”
