On Tuesday, a former Georgia election worker whose life was turned upside down by Donald Trump’s false election fraud claims at State Farm Arena will testify before congressional investigators.
Trump accused Wandrea ArShaye “Shaye” Moss and her mother, Ruby Freeman, of rigging the November 2020 election for Joe Biden using “suitcases” of ballots on election night. The two appeared in a video cited by Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani as a “smoking gun” for the arena’s voting fraud.
It wasn’t blatantly obvious. Investigators from the state and federal governments examined the video and interviewed election workers, ruling that they had committed no crimes. Moss, on the other hand, was threatened with death and made racial insults, causing her to quit the country.
Wandrea Shaye Moss, a voter registration officer in Fulton County, was accused with plotting to produce batches of falsified ballots and put them into voting machines in order to help Biden win in Georgia.
According to Moss’ written words, people told her and her mother, who was also an election worker, that they should “hang…for committing treason.”
Her son has reportedly received death threats, and she alleges that someone attempted a “citizen’s arrest” at her grandmother’s home.

Early in the day, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and his deputy, Gabe Sterling, would testify alongside Moss. Trump’s claims that the election was rigged were dismissed by both officials.
Rusty Bowers, the Republican speaker of the Arizona House of Representatives, will also testify. He backed Trump’s re-election campaign, but resisted efforts from Trump’s team to overturn Biden’s victory.
