Kaushik LM, a well-known film critic, movie tracker, and Galatta VJ, passed away today due to a heart attack.
He is a dedicated “movie maniac,” according to my Twitter account, whereas for me, watching movies is more than just enjoyable. He likes to think of me as being aspirational, motivated, and driven.
He also offers critical movie reviews. Editorial criticism from a film critic may be published in magazines, newspapers, and other reputable mass media. They might produce a journal-accepted academic critique of film infused with film theory.
Who Is Kaushik Lm?
For three years, from 2007 to 2010, Kaushik Lm worked at Infosys as a typical software engineer. It served as a useful introduction to the office setting. The nature of the job, though, didn’t match my inner calling.
The way movies have been sold and promoted has always fascinated me. Additionally, He adores writing movie reviews and has a different blog where he writes reviews of movies.
As a result, he left his job at Infosys and applied to the Media & Entertainment MBA program at Manipal University. He spent nearly four years working as a film journalist for the renowned movie website Behindwoods after receiving his MBA (divided across three semesters in Bangalore and the final semester in Mumbai).
He then began contributing as a freelancer to prestigious national publications like The Hindu, The News Minute, and Film Companion. He provided these organizations with celebrity interviews, movie reviews, box office reports, trending news articles, and opinion columns.
