‘Always Great Seeing’ – David Beckham Spends Quality Time With Friends Venus and Serena Williams

Serena Williams is a fierce competitor on the tennis court. She leaves no stones unturned to overpower her opponents. This has been quite clear from the success that she has achieved in the sport. However, in stark contrast, she is as friendly as anyone off the court. Further, Serena is good friends with several opponents that she has faced over her tennis career, like Caroline Wozniacki.

Additionally, Serena and her sister Venus are also good friends with David and Victoria Beckham. The Williams sisters also attended their son’s wedding last month. Recently, they were pictured together with the soccer legend, David Beckham.

Venus and Serena Williams meet David Beckham

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star took to Instagram to share a picture with the Williams sisters. Posting a story with their picture on his official Instagram handle, he said, “Always great seeing Serena Williams and Venus Williams.”

Further, the trio was in attendance at last week’s Miami Grand Prix. Serena cheered for Lewis Hamilton in the inaugural edition of the Formula 1 race in Miami. However, the Briton finished sixth while Red Bull’s Max Verstappen won the race.

Alexis Ohanian credits Serena for his investment in the child-care company

Recently, Serena’s husband, Alexis Ohanian, invested 3 million dollars in a company called ‘Anja Health’. Crediting his wife for his latest investment, the Reddit co-founder said, “Admittedly, I had no idea what cord blood banking was until 5 years ago, when my wife introduced me to the concept before our daughter was born.”

Further, he added, “Basically it is the process of securely and safely storing the cord blood (the umbilical cord and blood after a baby is born) so those critically important stem cells can be saved for future new use for the baby or a sibling.” Anja Health company focuses on this concept. It is a great initiative by Alexis and Serena, to give back to society.
