Just one outing against Floyd Mayweather has turned UFC Star Conor McGregor into an absolute fan of the sport. The former dual weight world champion mixed martial artist shared an update about what he intends to do next, aside from pursuing his career in MMA,

In a conversation with Sky sports, the 33-year-old revealed what he intends to do next as his entire team was spotted at F1 Monaco GP. He claimed that his saga in the UFC is far from over and he intends to make a full return once he gets cleared by his doctors. When quizzed about his thoughts on the state of boxing, Canelo Alvarez recently suffered his career’s second loss while Tyson Fury finished his career on top.

He also expressed his thoughts about the fiery heavyweight division and Anthony Joshua’s odds of besting heavyweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk. He said, “It didn’t go so well the last time. It’s a tough ask. AJ is a good guy and I wish him well. Usyk is a great guy as well and I hope for a good bout for both men. The heavyweight division is on fire at the minute. Good things are happening.”

Usyk managed to pull in a dominant performance that crowned him the next heavyweight champion. The upset definitely shocked the world as for the second time, Joshua dropped his world title. The Ukrainian boxer not only had a higher output, but he also landed more significant strikes.

Conor McGregor provides an update about his return

The UFC star is still gunning for a fight in the squared circle, as he called its first true love. ‘The Notorious’ isn’t done with the sport, despite losing his first professional fight.

He said, “Obviously, my return will be in the octagon for UFC – that story is far from over. In fact, it’s just being written. It is just the beginning. But, boxing, for sure, I will grace the squared circle again in the future.”
