The Briton has gone full American with his new helmet design. He will debut a special helmet that is completely basketball-themed ahead of the race weekend. It has been a long time coming since Norris’s prior love affair with the sport.

The McLaren driver has been teasing about a potential NBA collaboration for some time now. However, this looks like the final piece in the puzzle as the driver is set to debut a basketball-designed helmet.
A lot of fans predicted a possible incoming collaboration with Miami Heat. Meanwhile, in his latest helmet release video, Lando can be practically seen begging for Miami Heat to sign his helmet. He said, “Miami heat if you can just contact me, take this off my hands for just a few minutes and get everyone on the team to sign it, it then it would be freaking amazing”.

Lando’s prior love of Basketball and Miami
This is not the first time that Norris has shared his love for the sport. He has previously been seen following the sport. Not to mention the multiple collaborations he has had related to the sport. He recently posed this question on his Twitter page.

Once again, all the fingers pointed towards Miami Heat. The team has previously collaborated with the driver back in 2019. Back then Miami Heat player Jimmy Butler went around for a hot lap with the Briton in Canada.

Norris left Butler scared for his life as all the NBA veteran wanted to do by the end of the ride was hop out. As for when do the fans get to see him on the court? Who knows?
