James Tarkowski and Lille’s Sven Botman are among their options.

BOURNEMOUTH

BRENTFORD

Thomas Frank wants two wing-backs with pace and power, two wingers who can alternate and a striker who has pace but can hold the ball up.

BRIGHTON

A left-back to cover for Marc Cucurella’s potential departure, a defensive centre midfielder and a finisher are top of Brighton’s wishlist. There is interest in PSV Eindhoven’s Ibrahim Sangare as they prepare for Newcastle or Aston Villa to push for Yves Bissouma while Brighton expect Chelsea and Manchester City to ask for highly-rated Cucurella.

CHELSEA

Thomas Tuchel wants two new centre-backs and two wing-backs. Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol is high on a list with Sevilla’s Joules Kounde and Villarreal’s Pau Torres as Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen depart while Barcelona targets Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta are also expected to leave.

Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic could be sold and N’Golo Kante has interest amid his contract talks. Romelu Lukaku will also hold talks.

CRYSTAL PALACE

Cover at left back, a right back, defensive and box to box midfielders plus a right-sided winger who can play central are Palace’s priorities. Cheick Doucoure from Lens and Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah are among those discussed while Christian Benteke, Luka Milivojevic and Cheikou Kouyate could leave.

Keeping hold of Marc Guehi who has interest from Spurs and Michael Olise will be key. Wilfried Zaha’s deal also expires next summer.

EVERTON

Everton want a quick and dominant centre back to avoid another flirtation with relegation but are unlikely to be able to spend big. James Tarkowski., Wolves’ Conor Coady and Chelsea’s Levi Colwill are on their list while two midfielders, one defensive, one who is box to box, are also required.

Frank Lampard needs a striker too with Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin attracting interest. Selling the rest could be difficult.

FULHAM

A goalkeeper, two full-backs, two centre-backs – including a British one such as James Tarkowski or Forest’s Joe Worrall – are on Fulham’s wishlist plus three midfielders and a winger! Jean Michael Seri, Alfie Mawson and Michael Hector have all left and they will offload Anthony Knockaert, Ivan Cavaleiro and Josh Onomah.

LEEDS

Brenden Aaronson will join from Red Bull Salzburg and Leeds want another midfielder, a right back like Aberdeen’s Calvin Ramsay and a striker with Premier League experience. Another winger may be needed if Jack Harrison leaves amid Newcastle and Spurs interest. Raphinha is set on a move to Barcelona while Kalvin Phillips will assess his options next month. More cash could arrive if the San Francisco 49ers push for an early takeover.

LEICESTER

Brendan Rodgers wants at least three signings who will go straight into his starting side but will have to sell first. To take the club forward, he needs a new centre back, creative midfielder such as Lyon’s Houssem Aouar and right winger. Caglar Soyuncu, Kelechi Iheanacho, Ayoze Perez and Arsenal target Youri Tielemans could all be sold.

LIVERPOOL

Another goalkeeper is wanted to push Allison and Kelleher plus cover at right-back with Trent Alexander-Arnold potentially moving into midfield further down the line. Aberdeen’s Calvin Ramsay is liked though a little raw. Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni is admired but expected to join Real Madrid who are also monitoring contract talks with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane. The latter also has interest from Bayern Munich.

The Reds are prepared to let Alex Oxlade Chamberlain leave while striker Divock Origi is set for AC Milan.

MANCHESTER CITY

Boldly, have already signed Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund for £51m and are prioritising a replacement for Fernandinho.

They will consider another attacking midfielder and competition at left-back. Leeds Kalvin Phillips, Matheus Nunes of Sporting Lisbon and Brighton’s Marc Cucurella are all on their list but valuations will dictate who comes in. Raheem Sterling has interest from Chelsea among others.

MANCHESTER UNITED

Erik Ten Hag’s priority is a midfielder and striker on a ‘disciplined’ budget of around £80m plus whatever he can generate through sales. Benfica’s Darwin Nunez, Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong and Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic have been discussed. Another midfielder, centre back, right back and forward would be Ten Hag’s dream. Eric Bailly and Dean Henderson hope to be leading the departures.

NEWCASTLE

A striker, left-back, right winger, centre-back then midfielder are priorities. A £15m option exists for on loan left-back Matt Targett and a keeper is wanted on loan. A budget of £60m can be boosted by sales with up to 14 players being made available. Lille’s Sven Botman and Reims’ Hugo Ekitike are two they are pursuing with a long list of alternatives.

NOTTINGHAM FOREST or HUDDERSFIELD

If they go up Forest will do well to keep hold of flyer Brennan Johnson and defender Joe Worrall, Everton and Newcastle are among those keen on Johnson. James Garner could return from Manchester United while Djed Spence has Premier League interest. With that in mind they want two full-backs, a midfielder and striker. Huddersfield want to keep Levi Colwill from Chelsea and add a midfielder, striker and winger.

SOUTHAMPTON

Crucial window for Ralph Hasenhuttl. A goalkeeper to replace Spurs-bound Fraser Forster, a centre back, two wingers who can alternate sides and a striker are required. May face battles to keep defender Mohammed Salisu and captain James Ward-Prowse while the end of Armando Broja’s loan from Chelsea will be sorely felt. Stuttgart’s Sasa Kalajdzic and Angers attacker Mohamed Ali Cho are admired.

TOTTENHAM

A timely £150m capital increase could help keep Antonio Conte. He wants a squad capable of winning trophies not just fourth place and that will be thrashed out with Fabio Paratici this week.

A left-sided centre back such as Salzburg’s Gvardiol, Inter’s Alessandro Bastoni or Villarreal’s Pau Torres is desired while Gabriel Jesus, Renato Sanches, Christian Eriksen plus homegrown Djed Spence, Kalvin Phillips, James Ward-Prowse are wanted. Fraser Forster will sign.

WEST HAM

An offer has been made to free agent Jesse Lingard and David Moyes wants another striker, centre-back, left-back, midfielder and goalkeeper. Rennes defender Nayef Aguerd is liked as are Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah, Chelsea’s Armando Broja and Hull City’s Keane Lewis-Potter but Moyes still hopes to add a big name to meet his ambitions for the club. Declan Rice’s pricetag is likely to keep him at the London Stadium.

WOLVES

A goalscorer is priority with a centre-back and midfielder also wanted by Bruno Lage though funds have been limited by owners Fosun. Keeper John Ruddy has left while Wolves expect interest in Ruben Neves from Barcelona and Arsenal. Adama Traore is likely to return from Barcelona while Sporting’s Joao Palhinha, Shakhtar’s Pedrinho and Goncalo Guedes of Valencia have all been discussed.
