Jake Paul and Hasim Rahman Jr. will battle their differences out in an epic showdown on August 6th in Madison Square Garden. Leading up to the fight, Rahman Jr. sat down in an interview with the DAZN Boxing Show, where the heavyweight knockout artist revealed his top 5 pound-for-pound boxers in the world.

In the first place, he had unified Welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. followed by ESPN’s P4P number 1 Terrance Crawford and undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney at number 3.
Moreover, he placed WBO and WBC junior lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson in 4th and WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis at number 5 after thinking for some time. What seemed surprising in this list of world-class boxers was not including undisputed middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez.
Alvarez has been at the top of many renowned P4P lists, including the Ring Magazine and ESPN, until his loss to Bivol. Although the Mexican boxer has been dropped from these lists, he is still in the top 5 in each one of them which makes the heavyweight’s list even more shocking. Despite losing to Bivol, Alvarez is still one of the best boxers in the world. Notably, he was on a 16-fight win streak before losing to the light heavyweight champion with wins over Gennady Golovkin, Caleb Plant, and Billy Joe Saunders.

However, he will be motivated to make his return as the P4P king against Gennady Golovkin, who he will face in September in the final chapter of their trilogy.
A look into Hasim Rahman Jr.
Rahman Jr. is an American boxer and the son of former heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman who is widely known for defeating Lennox Lewis. Rahman Jr. competes in the heavyweight division and has a record of 12-1 with notable wins over Nathan Bedwell and Steven Tyner.
He made his professional debut back in 2017 against Ralph Alexander, beating him via knockout in the first round. Moreover, he suffered the only loss of his career earlier this year after he was knocked out by James Morrison.
