The latest episode of ‘The Big Podcast with Shaq’ took a hilarious turn when podcast co-host Spice Adams’ mother referred to 76ers player James Harden as James Beardon. After that, Adams’ mom went on to name a few more players’ names that according to her is absolutely correct! In the episode ‘The Big Walkie Talkie’, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, ET co-host Nischelle Turner and former NFL player Spice Adams talk about who they think is a ‘superstar’.
Nischelle asks the question what makes a superstar, to which Shaq replies that he doesn’t know what the criteria for a superstar is. When Nischelle asks Shaq to explain what his idea of a superstar is, O’Neal answers that a superstar is someone people would pay to see.
James ‘Beardon’ and ‘Khloe Kardashian Baby Daddy’
Following the Twitter trend, Nischelle and Adams asked their mothers to name five current NBA players without searching online. Nischelle’s mother sent her a list of players’ names. However, things take a comical turn when the duo, along with Shaq go through the list of names that Adams’ mother sent.
Among the players she mentioned was James Harden and newly signed Chicago Bulls player Tristan Thompson or, according to Spice’s mom ‘James Beardon and Khloe Kardashion Baby Daddy’. The trio then laughed it out with Nischelle giving a shoutout to Spice’s mother. Interestingly, basketball isn’t the only thing that is common between the two mentioned NBA players.
Both, Harden and Thompson had been involved with Khloe Kardashian in the past. Whereas Harden and Khloe were only together for eight months, Thompson has been in an on-again, off-again relationship with the reality TV star.
James Harden and Tristan Thompson’s common ground
The NBA 76ers player met the Kardashian sister at Kanye West’s party and they hit it off. At the time, Khloe was going through a divorce with ex-husband Lamar Odom and taking care of him . The duo were together for several months before they decided to go separate ways. Reportedly, Harden did not like all the attention he was getting.
Khloe started dating Thompson in 2016 and since then the couple have been in on-again, off-again relationship. While they are not together at the moment, the couple are all set to welcome baby no. 2 through surrogacy. They already have a daughter together, born in 2018. The couple are currently co-parenting.
