Thanks to the insane popularity of the game and the league, celebrity appearances in NBA games are not a rarety. Out of the biggest names in the world who attend the games, celebrity rapper Drake is definitely the most passionate. Interestingly enough, he had a small interaction with Kevin Durant during one such game.

Drake is known for being vocal on the courtside. The ‘God’s Plan’ hitmaker is a huge fan of the Toronto Raptors and is also an ambassador for the team. Although he is liked by most NBA stars, it seems KD does not care about Drake.

When the Golden State Warriors took on the Toronto Raptors, Durant was interviewed after the game. Drake bumped into KD and tried to interrupt the interview, however, it was of no use. Durant was not affected by Drake’s interruption and continued with his analysis of the game.

Despite giving such a reaction, the two seem to be good friends. Moreover, Durant actually appeared in a music video by Drake. The Brooklyn Nets star was seen in the music video for ‘Laugh Now Cry Later’ by Drake and Lil Durk.

Kevin Durant has a brilliant record against the Raptors. In 24 games against the franchise, he averages 26.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 4.6 assists. Although KD might have a good record against the Raptors, the team actually got the better of KD and the Warriors in 2019.

An injury in Game 5 of the 2019 finals forced Durant off the court. This proved to be disastrous for the Golden State Warriors as the Raptors won their first NBA title led by Kawhi Leonard.
