MrBeast is one of the most significant presences on YouTube. He now also has over 100 million subscribers, the second individual YouTuber in history to do so. Jimmy recently released a video to celebrate his epic milestone, but he also ended up creating another milestone in the process.

Jimmy Donaldson, famously known as MrBeast, is a Carolina- based YouTuber. He has been on this platform now for over a decade. However, he rose to the spotlight when he pioneered expensive challenges and experiments as his primary content.

He came up with extravagant ideas like creating a Squid Game set and the Chocolate Factory. Further, he also did videos like lighting up the biggest fireworks and giving a Lamborghini to a fan. If this is not enough, he also gave away a private island.

What was MrBeast’s 100 million subscribers special video?

The 24-year-old recently hit a hundred million on YouTube. So, to celebrate this milestone, Donaldson released a video titled “I Gave My 100,000,000th Subscriber A Private Island” on August 4, 2022. Donaldson flew 100 random subscribers to an island and had them compete for the island.

Donaldson had four challenges for the 100 subscribers. In the first round, everyone had to race on the beach and light a fire with minimum tools. Only 50 made it to the second round, where they faced the Squid Game’s ‘red light, green light,’ with only ten progressing beyond.

In the third round, the ten contenders stood on ten planks, out of which five got eliminated after they stood on the wrong ones. The last five had to search the whole beach to find a box buried in the sand to win the island.

MrBeast breaks his own record with 100 million celebratory video!

The video became a significant hit like his other videos and it has over 25 million views in one day. Undoubtedly, it was a unique way to celebrate his milestone, but it created another one as well. MrBeast’s Chocolate Factory video had the most views in an hour, with around 4.1 million.

However, this latest 100M Special video broke that record by registering 4.3 million subscribers. Even his most successful video, “$456,000 Squid Game In Real Life! with over 278 million views, never made it into the top 5 of this list.
