Denny Hamlin had been outspoken about how some things had to change with the Next-gen car. After looking at one of his Tweets regarding the same, a NASCAR spotter stated that he disagreed with what Hamlin had to say, and instead he had his own pointers referring to what needed to be done.

Brett Griffin stated, “I wholeheartedly disagree with Denny Hamlin. He wants a whole new car I want two things, a tire that’ll wear and one motor. Harvick tweeted, that last week it was a 1000 horsepower. The problem within this race from where I stood, for the entire weekend was how freaking fast corner speeds are just you guys are flat-out ripping the center.”

Soon, Justin Haley added, “I could deal with more horsepower, I feel like out of Darlington or New Hampshire or an auto club places where there’s a lot of tire wear. Even at the end of the run, it’s hard to spin the tires, I mean it is, we just have a lot of tires and a lot of downforce and grip.”

“I mean it’s hard to step out and you look at the races in the mid-2000s and I mean they were half throttle down the straightaway at Charlotte so. And honestly, this is a lot more horsepower than we had planned on running this year.”

What did Denny Hamlin state about the Next-Gen Cars that Brett Griffin disagrees with?

Denny Hamlin had reportedly sent out a tweet asking for an all-new Next Gen car which he titled “Next-Gen 2.0” after hearing multiple complaints from fellow drivers regarding the state of the current cars.

Hamlin had stated,We need NextGen 2.0. Just gotta figure out who’s gonna pay for it.Soon, NASCAR Hall of Famer, Dale Earnhradt Jr was also seen agreeing with what Hamlin had stated.

He was not the only driver asking for change, in fact, there were several more. In light of Kevin Harvick’s recent incident which saw his car combust to flames, Harvick went to the media and let out a strongly worded 12-minute rant only after which NASCAR woke up from its parallel universe and decided to introduce new sets of regulations for fire safety. Aside from this, there have been complaints from almost every other driver regarding crash impacts and how they felt for the drivers.
