Kevin Durant is one of the greatest offensive forces the game has ever seen. The seven feet sniper extraordinaire is one of the rare three-level scorers in the league. Kevin Durant has a deadly mid-range jumper, which he can unleash from anywhere. He also has great handles for somebody his size. He uses his quickness and manages to blow past opponents to get to the basket. If by any chance he is unable to do so, he is also a great three-point shooter and can shoot beyond the three-point line.

Even though Kevin is very active on Twitter and frequently engages with fans and trolls on the social media platform, he is secretive about other aspects of his private life. He also shies away from doing frequent media interactions. Kevin is also one of the most eligible bachelor basketball players in the world. But it seems like even he goes through rough patches sometimes.

According to some reports, one of Kevin Durant’s old relationship ended with him refusing to kiss his then partner after the NBA Finals. Cassandra Anderson was a volleyball player in her college days, therefore justifying her 6’1 height. Kevin and her met around 2017, when KD was playing for the Golden State Warriors. According to the article, “The beginning of the end of their supposed relationship began when Durant allegedly denied kissing Cassandra at the end of the NBA finals, post which, Durant went in “free agency” trying to find a partner for himself.”

Kevin Durant and his future with the Nets

It has been around three weeks since KD officially demanded a trade from the Brooklyn Nets. Just last year he signed a super max extension with the Nets.

One of the possible explanations for KD’s trade request could be because of the Nets lack of success in the playoffs.

KD’s first year was a washout as he was recovering from his Achilles injury. In 2020-21, the Nets lost a seven-game series to the eventual champions, Milwaukee Bucks. This year the Boston Celtics swept them in four games in the first round of the playoffs.
