Top-ranked UFC pound-for-pound star Valentina Shevchenko is one of the greatest fighters to ever be in combat sports. She is the UFC’s most dominant champion and holds many records under her belt. The flyweight champion’s fight-worn shorts from UFC 275 were recently out on sale and a fight fan purchased them for a staggering price of $4,999.

The flyweight champion signed the shorts she wore at UFC 275 in her seventh title defense bout against Taila Santos. UFC put up the used pair of shorts on the official UFC collectibles website with no auction limit. In the end, they sold it for an eye-watering sum to an unidentified fan.

The UFC Merchandise post read: “The pair of shorts were worn by Bullet Valentina for the 5 rounds on the way to defending the UFC Womens Flyweight Title. Own a piece of UFC history!”

Shevchenko’s fight at UFC 275 was one of the most challenging bouts in her flyweight career, and she won the contest via split decision. Many fans even felt Santos should have taken the decision. However, it was debatable on either side, which shows that ‘Bullet‘ wasn’t threatened completely.

Valentina Shevchenko hints at going up to bantamweight

In the post-fight octagon interview after her tough split decision win against Taila Santos, the top-ranked women’s pound-for-pound fighter had a shocking message for her fans. ‘Bullet’ hinted at making a move up to bantamweight after not fighting in the weight class for over four years.

She said, “I want to keep going I want to keep improve. I want to keep fighting it no matter who. bantamweight, flyweight, I’m here. Just bring it home.”

Shevchenko has had three losses at bantamweight, two of which were against the former UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes. Her first career loss was against Liz Carmouche in a bantamweight bout. Former bantamweight champion Miesha Tate also recently challenged ‘Bullet’ to a bout.
