Derrick Henry is quite often regarded as the best running back in the league. He could have won the MVP Award last year, but he was not able to due to his injury. Last season, the Titans had the best record in the AFC, but they still crashed out in their first playoff game.

Derrick has already started preparing for the next season. He will look to play the whole season, which will help his team massively. The athlete recently shared a video, in which he was running fast routes uphill. It was sensational, and other teams have to watch out for Derrick Henry again next season.

This video shows the amount of explosiveness that Henry has. It has been seen in the games that he is an unstoppable force. With him doing such training, we can expect him to be even better in the upcoming season than last year.

The chances of the Tennessee Titans depend on Henry a lot. When he is in tune, their team is in tune. After he got injured last year, it was quite visible that the level of Titans had fallen off. Derrick would want to stay healthy throughout the season.

Can Derrick Henry guide the Titans to a successful season?

As stated above, the Titans had a shocking end to a great season last year. The Bengals knocked them out of the playoffs in the AFC Divisional Round. Titans’ quarterback Ryan Tannehill had a terrible outing in that game.

Ryan has been under a lot of pressure since that horrible performance in a game of such high magnitude. His place at the franchise was under threat. However, clarity was given to him ahead of the offseason that he will be the quarterback of the team.

Derrick’s role for the Titans is the most important. Their system revolves around him. His availability and form will decide how the Titans fare next season. The RB himself would want to lead the team from the front, as he will be going for that MVP award again after he missed out last season.

The Titans showed the world last season that they are a pretty good team as they had the best record in the AFC. They’ll just need Derrick and Ryan to perform in critical situations, and they certainly can go to the Super Bowl.
