Ric Flair had one of the most illustrious careers in the company’s history. During his WWE career, the Nature Boy won the championship 16 times. Although he did have a long and illustrious WWE career, his relationship with Vince McMahon was rocky.

On the recent edition of Be The Man podcast, The Nature Boy was asked about the incident at a show in Columbia, South Carolina, where Flair was upset about not being booked after being hyped for the event.

In addition, Flair expressed his dissatisfaction at being told to team up with Torrie Wilson against Carlito and Victoria.

Flair stated, “I walk into Gorilla and Vince said, ‘What the hell are you doing?’ I said I’m working with a girl. I made her look like who she is, a great worker. Who booked that match? I don’t know somebody right here. You just watched it. That was the exact conversation, and I quit.”

Furthermore, he added, “Then he flew me up there and chewed my a** out, and I started crying and said, Okay. [Laughs] He cussed out my lawyers, he said, who the f*** are these two j**koffs? You’ve got a lot of balls to bring a lawyer into my office. Aren’t you man enough to talk to me man to man? I hate lawyers. I hate my own f*cking lawyer!”

After this heated conversation, Flair quit the company.

A few weeks ago, it was reported that The Nature Boy will be making his return to the ring at 73. Flair is currently gearing up for the last wrestling match of his career, which will take place at STARRCAST V in July.

In addition, on Wednesday, WWE shocked the wrestling universe after announcing that Flair, filmmaker Tom Rinaldi, and WWE teamed up to do a collaboration on a documentary.

If you didn’t know, after the allegations on ‘Dark Side of the Ring,’ Flair announced last year that he would no longer work with the WWE. The Nature Boy, on the other hand, stunned the world after he rejoined the company.
