FORMER Bachelorettes Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams are upset they have been ‘tossed’ aside as Jesse Palmer prepares to host the upcoming season of The Bachelorette.

Season 19 begins on July 11th and will feature Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia as the show’s first joint leads.

Fans learned that Jesse, 43, will take over as host from Kaitlyn, 36, and Tayshia, 31, after he presented the dramatic 26th season of The Bachelor.

A source close to production told The Sun: “I don’t think either of them were happy with how they were tossed to the side, and Tayshia seems over the whole show.”

The former contestants were fan favorites when they took over for Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette.

Many viewers described the dynamic between the duo, especially with Katie, 30, as “fun and refreshing”.

However, the previous hosts are unlikely to return to the screen anytime soon.

The insider said: “Tayshia and Kaitlyn have no plans on returning to host in the near future. Kaitlyn still gets involved with the franchise but Tayshia seems completely done.”

GOLDEN HOST

Executives on the show are reportedly “borderline obsessed” with Jesse, who will host The Bachelorette for the first time when the new season premieres on July 11th.

The Bachelor has had a facelift after longtime host Chris Harrison, 50, was fired from the show.

Jesse himself was previously a contestant on season five of The Bachelor.

The source said that Jesse is “exactly what they [executives] were looking for in a host… an unproblematic Chris Harrison type.”

BACHS TURNED

Tayshia has not been involved in the franchise since she hosted Michelle Young’s season with Kaitlyn.

During the Men Tell All episode, she burst into tears when she was asked by her co-host about her breakup from her then-fiance Zac Clark.

Before walking off the set, she said: “All I have to say is that I’m heartbroken, but we tried really hard and I still love him very much, and I’m not sure what the future holds.”

On the other hand, Kaitlyn revealed on the podcast Off The Vine this week that she felt “sad” about not hosting, but that the new presenter, Jesse, has her full support.

“I think Jesse’s amazing”, she said.

“He’ll be a great host and I hope he helps Gabby and Rachel in any way that he can.”

PRODUCTION PANIC

However, with filming for Gabby and Rachel’s season due to start this week, the show is reportedly “chaotic and unorganized”.

Jesse announced on Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor finale: “For the first time, we will have two Bachelorettes for the entire season.”

Both Gabby and Rachel were Clayton’s final two picks on his shocking season of The Bachelor.

However, the insider revealed: “It’s been chaos behind the scenes.“

They added: “Execs went with the two Bachelorette leads as an impulse decision because of how strong the reaction was to both women, and their friendship, but also because they needed to shake up the franchise after the past few years of turmoil.”

However, the people behind the hit franchise are yet to figure out the logistics of having two Bachelorettes.

“There is still no definitive process set up for how they will handle the two leads.

“Certain producers are feeding on that uncertainty though because they know the more chaotic it is, the better the drama will be for this season.”

The onset of chaos during filming might put Gabby and Rachel’s friendship under strain.

“They don’t even care if Gabby and Rachel end up hating each other by the end. They just want a good show and better ratings.”
