Flavio Briatore celebrated his 72nd birthday on Tuesday and marked the occasion in Milan with ex-wife Elisabetta Gregoraci and their 12-year-old son Nathan.
The Italian tycoon is currently wheelchair bound after undergoing an operation last month on his Achilles tendon, but ensured his birthday festivities would be a standout moment of his recovery.
The businessman, sporting black shades and comfortable attire, was pictured leaving 5-star hotel Principe di Savoia before the trio enjoyed an Italian feast at Crazy Pizza.

On Tuesday evening, Flavio wished himself a happy birthday on Instagram, sharing a beaming photo next to Elisabetta while he was embraced by Nathan.
Last month, the former Benetton manager shared a photo from the edge of his hospital bed, leg bandaged up and crutches in tow as he gave his followers an update.

His English translation read: ‘Yesterday I underwent an operation called Achilles tendon tenoraffia. I would like to thank Professor Piero Volpi, Professor Herbert Schoenhuber, my friend and the staff at the Madonnina for their care and professionalism.
‘Everything went well and I am about to be discharged. Now a period of immobility awaits me but I will continue to work and stay active, as always!’
Flavio and Elisabetta married in star-studded ceremony in Rome in 2008, before welcoming their son two years later.

Flavio, who was born in Verzuolo near Cuneo, Italy, rose to fame as the managing director and principal of Renault’s Formula One team.
He was previously in a relationship with model Heidi Klum however the pair split when Flavio was seen kissing another woman.
The pair share 17-year-old daughter Helene ‘Leni’ Samuel.
