Chrishell Stause has said that she can relate to Selling Sunset viewers who find her personality annoying.

On Saturday, the 40-year-old reality star tweeted in response to commenters who complained about her on-screen persona.  

‘When people watch #sellingsunset & get annoyed by my personality. Honestly, same,’ Chrishell wrote, adding emojis of a grimacing smiley face and a woman face-palming.

She continued, ‘I think years of auditioning clicks a weird part of my brain when speaking to camera to be “ON” and I am working on it. 

‘Lol. But girl just relax. By the time we’re cancelled I’ll get it,’ she quipped.

The Kentucky native began her career as an actress, starring in the soap operas Days of Our Lives and All My Children.

The television personality’s Twitter page was quickly flooded by messages from supportive fans.

User  @todayimamess posted a funny meme of Chrishell and wrote, ‘i take it as a personal attack when someone insults the queen @Chrishell7, you have anything but an “annoying personality.” 

‘you’re one of the kindest, most driven, inspiring, and professional people to exist. i’m so proud & grateful to look up to you & thankful you exist.’

Chrishell replied, ‘Ok but this meme,’ adding a series of crying laughing emojis.

She continued, ‘You’re so sweet-thank you! I wasn’t meaning to make people feel like I need defending. Was just laughing at how annoyed I get at myself when watching so I get it. That’s all.’   

‘I’ve never been annoyed by you,’ wrote @dolphnjules, to which the star replied, ‘Can I switch brains with you?’

Actress Africa Miranda commented, ‘i thoroughly enjoy you on the show but I know the “on” struggle all too well.’

Chrishell joked, ‘Yes! I need a zapper for when I start to do it!’  

The Dancing With The Stars alum has starred on the hit Netflix show since it debuted in 2019.

She worked as a licensed real estate agent at another Los Angeles firm for several years prior to joining The Oppenheim Group, the luxury firm on which the show is centered.

Chrishell has previously defended herself against online attacks with social media users claiming that she was not actually a real estate agent and that she only got listings because she was dating the firm’s founder Jason Oppenheim, 44.

Chrishell and Jason split in December 2021, five months after they publicly announced that they were dating. 

However, both have insisted that their breakup was amicable and they continue to remain co-workers and co-stars. 

Production for the show’s fifth season is currently underway though a release date has not yet been announced.
