CHESNEY and Gemma make a horrifying mistake with Joseph Brown in Coronation Street next week.
As viewers will know, 10-year-old Joseph has been feeling very down at home over the past few weeks.
The youngster has felt unloved because his dad Chesney has been busy looking after the quadruplets Alex, Bryn, Carys and Lilo.
So when his grandma Linda makes an appearance on the Cobbles and shows him lots of love and affection, he’s convinced that his dad doesn’t want anything to do with him.
Later on she offers up the idea that she takes Joseph back to Portugal with her.
However, Chesney shut down her idea very quickly.
After a blazing argument in the street, the kebab shop worker and Gemma discussed what had happened.
But Joseph was listening to their conversation on the stairs and he took it as they didn’t want anything to do with him.
Next week things take a drastic turn when Chesney starts to believe that it might be a good idea that he moves abroad.
The dad-of-five tells the young lad that he’s happy with him moving to Portugal with granny Linda.
But little does he know that Joseph is absolutely heartbroken.
Later on Chesney meets up with Linda to tell her that she can take Joseph back to the holiday hot spot for a better life.
But they’re all left lost for words when they’ve not got much time to let it sink in.
Linda reveals that she has to fly back as soon as possible because of a family emergency.
Chesney and Gemma fight back the tears when Joseph agrees to go with his grandma and they wave goodbye to the pair outside Number 5.
Later on Hope throws a spanner in the works when she tells the couple the truth.
The school girl tells Chesney and Gemma that Joseph said he never wanted to go to Portugal.
Chesney’s heart begins to sink and realises the damage he’s done.
The fast food shop assistants quickly get a cab and rush to the airport to try and stop the youngster.
Will they make it in time to stop Joseph?
