EastEnders fans all said the same thing after a heartbreaking scene between Mick Carter and Janine Butcher last night.
Over the past few weeks things have been strained between the pair because the Queen Vic owner has been keeping a secret on the BBC show.
Janine has been left feeling down in the dumps because any time she tries to get close to Mick, he pushes her away.
Last night they made an effort to spend some time together, and the barmaid decided to confront him about why doesn’t want to sleep with her.
Mick tried his best to reassure her that he does want her.
The pub landlord decided to open up about the heartbreaking ordeal that he went through when he was a young boy.
Fighting back the tears, Mick said “Okay, when I was a kid, 12, I was sexually abused.
“I was sexually abused by a woman, and that woman was Frankie’s mum.”
The emotional scenes got too much for many viewers at home and they rushed to Twitter to share their heartbreak.
One wrote: “Oh Mick,” with a broken heart and crying emoji.
Another said: “You’re so brave Well done Mick for opening up on your abuse #EastEnders.”
