BIANCA Gascoigne’s success on the Italian version of Strictly Come Dancing was all down to her new eyebrows.
The reality star, 35, who is currently cheering on little brother Regan, 26, as he competes in Dancing On Ice, finished runner-up in Italy’s Ballando con le Stelle, their version of Strictly.
And one thing she made sure she sorted out before she flew to Italy were her eyebrows, in a bid to boost her confidence.
Bianca headed to celebrity favourite KSL Clinic where she had the FUE Eyebrow Hair Transplant carried out by Dr Matee Rajput.
Speaking before having her eyebrows done Bianca said: “I just feel really really excited.
“I’ve told a few people that I’m having it done. It’s not a common thing to have an eyebrow transplant, this is super exciting for me and I cant wait to have big bushy eyebrows and I can’t wait to style them because they don’t really grow. I’m buzzing.”
Dr Matee Rajput took hair from the back of Bianca’s neck for the procedure. And said that he’s seeing more and more women coming into his clinic wanting their eyebrows done.
He said: “We are seeing women of all ages coming in. They may have over plucked or over threaded their eyebrows and need them sorted out.
“We’ve also had a number of women who maybe 15 years ago had them tattooed on and now they’re in a right mess as there is no hair there.
“We get the hair from the back of the head, in the nasal of the neck. You can change your style because the eyebrow hair grows quicker than your normal eyebrows.
“So you have to maintain and look after them more. We used to do one eyebrow transplant every few months now we are doing at least one every month.”
And speaking about Bianca he said: “Bianca was very happy with her results. You only have to look at what she did on that show.
“Her eyebrows gave her the confidence to do something like that. She came to me before the show as she wanted to feel good about herself.
“The reason we are able to do these procedures now is because we use microscopic instruments, they are tiny.
“It takes about three hours to do and then you have to wait about four weeks before they come through, so it’s super quick.”
