Viewers were baffled that the Happy Mondays star made it through after his major blunder.

The reality star, who was partnered with professional skater Joe Johnson, also suffered her own tumble but quickly picked herself back up and carried on with her performance to Flo Rida’s Right Round.

ITV viewers were disappointed to see the Birmingham star go.

One wrote: “This is a fix…Bez should have gone. It’s not funny anymore. #DancingonIce”

Another posted: “Neither Liberty or Ky should have been in the skate off. #DancingonIce”

“This is so unfair! Liberty should have been saved. There are worse people in the competition. #DancingonIce,” another tweeted.

A fourth added: “Liberty going home instead of Bez. Embarrassing public vote. Stupidity yet again. #DancingonIce”

Someone else agreed: “Shocking that Liberty went yet Bez and Sally still in the competition. #DancingonIce”

Another posted: “Why is Bez still there. It’s a joke – gonna stop watching it because Bez clearly should have gone. #DancingonIce”

During the performance, Liberty became unsteady on her skates and took a tumble.

The gutted star explained that this was the first time it had gone wrong and was unable to finish the “corkscrew” move.

Despite getting into a tangle, Liberty got back on her feet and the judges marked her an impressive score of 28 out of 40.

However, viewers were confused that the TV star had been voted so highly, with one writing: “How do you get a 7 with that mistake? #DancingonIce.”

Another posted: “Fall and get a 7? #DancingonIce”

“I was going to say that Liberty was getting better then she fell,” a third commented.

“Nah, Liberty’s dance wasn’t worth more than a 6. #DancingonIce,” another shared.

Another tweeted: “How on earth are those scores even valid? #DancingonIce”

However, some fans defended the Birmingham babe, writing: “I give Liberty and Joe a 7 out of 10. That step sequence was impressive. I loved the energy and there was so much attack this week. But sometimes you still are on two feet too much and of course there was the fall. #DancingonIce”

Meanwhile, Regan Gascoigne also suffered a few off balance moments tonight – but the judges still praised him for being at a “high standard” but said that the stumbles had cost him a few points.

Last week, S Club legend Rachel Stevens, 43, left the competition after an intense skate-off against BMX Olympian Kye Whyte, 22.

Despite the pair landing themselves in the bottom two, it was actually Bez who landed himself at the bottom of the leaderboard.

The Happy Mondays star scored just 20 out of 40 after his performance to I’m On My Way with pro skater Angela Egan.

Meanwhile the other two bagged higher scores than him – Rachel was given 24 points for her dance to If I Ain’t Got You, and Kye scored 30 out of 40 for his performance to Rasputin.

After Rachel was booted off the ITV competition, many took to Twitter to call the programme a “fix”.

One wrote: “How is Bez keep getting saved on #DancingOnIce complete fix as he’s absolutely terrible and not even entertaining to watch!”

A second added: “#DancingOnIce why is Bez still skating. He should have gone gone ages ago. He’s crap. Looks to me it’s a fix.”

Meanwhile others are convinced that the Happy Mondays star, real name Mark Berry, is going to win.

A third chimed in: “Won’t be surprised if Bez wins….he can’t skate and still in it thought it was a competition.”
