Eamonn, 62, had his fans worried on Tuesday morning as he opened up about suffering from chronic pain after sharing a snap of himself and his co-host Isabel Webster outside Buckingham Palace.

The TV presenter spent the day on his feet on Monday as he hosted the special GB News show following The Queen’s funeral.

The former This Morning star was on TV from early until late for the coverage – following the momentous day live.

However, he had his fans worried he had worked too hard after he opened up about suffering from chronic pain after the broadcast.

He wrote to his social media followers: “Hello all my chronic pain sufferers. I know it’s not much help but it does help a little I feel to know we are not alone.

“Therefore from time to time I make these posts so some of you can share stories and just talk to someone who knows what you are going through.”

One of his fans responded to ask whether he had been kept “awake with the pain“, to which Eamonn added: “Afraid so, awful day and night.”

Earlier this year, Eamonn was rushed to hospital for “unexpected” and emergency treatment on his back – which causes his chronic pain.

He suffered a slipped disk in his back last year in a freak accident, and told how sleep is his “only escape” from the agony he was suffering.

Eamonn told This Morning viewers at the time: “About a month ago I did something to my back, I don’t know what.

“It could have been getting into a car, getting out of bed, whatever. What I do know is I can’t sleep at night, the pain is worse at night.

“I’ve got an MRI scan but the problem is everything closes down at Easter so I haven’t got it analysed yet.”

Eamonn has been busy covering The Queen’s death and funeral in recent weeks – and recently hit out at his former co-stars on This Morning.

He took a swipe at rivals Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby after their ‘queue-jump’ backlash – as they appeared inside Westminster Hall to see the Queen lying-in-state without having taken part in the queue.

Eamonn’s co-host Isabel Webster, 39, was introducing a guest who had waited in the queue to see Her Majesty.

Isabel said: “[They] suffered that queue and they were not of any insignificant age, we’ll be talking to them after this.”

Cheeky Eamonn quickly jumped in: “What, Holly and Phillip?”

The swipe comes as Eamonn already made a dig at the pair last week.
