WITH Faith Dingle’s death looming on the horizon, viewers are growing increasingly worried for life in the Dales.
Emmerdale viewers took to social media last night, concerned that the fan favourite’s exit may be damaging for the ITV soap.

The village veteran portrayed by Sally Dexter has been suffering from terminal cancer and refused chemotherapy, thus accepting her fate.
But before her demise, Faith is adamant on making the most of her last few months of living and gets up to all kinds of mischief in an attempt to leave nothing but happy memories behind.
During last night’s trip to the eponymous village, she was seen stealing a golf cart with her pal Eric Pollard, very clearly drunk.
Although Brenda Walker was evidently concerned for them, the pair left viewers in stitches.

This has led ITV viewers to fear for the future of the Yorkshire-based soap due to Faith’s upcoming emotional exit as it will put an end to all the entertainment she has brought to them so far.
Soap fans took to social media to share their concerns.
“Killing Off Faith is Emmerdale suicide”, one of them penned as another agreed: “”Killing off faith is such a stupid idea.”
A third viewer wrote: “Faith’s death is so close – I’m not ready.”

A fourth fan commented: “It’s alright the viewers will remember Faith for the only character who brings joy to this rather than the ‘an old, empty, husk of woman’ as she said to Moira.”
Viewers were so happy to see a drunk Faith and Eric having the time of their lives, they jumped back on to social media.
“Faith and Eric drunk in charge of a golf buggy…”, one soap fan wrote alongside a laughing emoji.
“I don’t want Faith to die. I’m have teary watching her and Eric on the golf cart”, another chimed in.

But while she appears to be in good spirits, Faith’s need to remain in control of her condition will lead her to make a heart-breaking decision.
Spoilers have confirmed she will be considering ending her own life as her illness continues to take hold of her.
She is also set to ask her daughter-in-law Moira to assist her in her death.
