Laurel Thomas (portrayed by actress Charlotte Bellamy) makes a huge decision in upcoming scenes of the ITV soap.
The Hide Café manager reconnects with her former partner Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson).
Both then decide to take things further and are excited to break the news to their kids who have witnessed their bitter breakup.

As viewers of the Yorkshire-based soap may know, Laurel and Jai encountered their first major hurdle when she found out he had filed a fraudulent loan request in her name.
This considerably affected her finances when Kim Tate decided to sell the home they were living in and Laurel was even ready to leave the Dales, despite her attachment to the area.
Jai came clean and eventually resolved everything with a little help from the businesswoman but his relationship with Laurel was on the rocks.
The pair then reconnected and it seemed like they were ready to start afresh – until Jai was accused of relapsing intro his drug addiction when cocaine was found in his belongings.

The drugs actually belonged to Leyla Cavanagh who has been battling a secret cocaine addiction in recent months.
Sadly, this was enough to make Laurel turn heel and move on with another man – physiotherapist Kit (Thoren Ferguson).
All appeared to be going well for the new couple, while Jai watched their happiness from afar, but Kit became greedy.

To make matters worse, he decided to seduce Laurel’s stepdaughter Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) who has been trying to find love again on a dating app.
Laurel caught the pair red-handed which led to her giving up on her connection with Kit.
Could he move on to break another couple as fans have theorised Rhona Goskirk may embark on an affair with him?
