1. Warren’s accident could be solved
Warren Fox (portrayed by Jamie Lomas) has a shocking plan to avenge his son Joel (Rory Douglas-Speed).
Determined to get revenge on the men that attacked Joel, Warren recruits Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood) to help him.
The pair decide to take on the part of undercover priests.
When Joel gets wind of their plan, he makes his father promise not to lose his temper.
However, Warren will have a lot more on his plate this week as Ethan Williams (Matthew James-Bailey) reveals he has new information on the vehicle that ran him over earlier in the year.
But Joel intervenes, just as Ethan prepares to deliver Warren some good news and the criminal is left with a warning.
Later on, a name is revealed to viewers and Ethan may have found an answer to Warren’s mysterious hit-and-run.
Warren was left for dead in January, 2022, as he was meeting up with his girlfriend Maxine Minniver for a date.

2. Mercedes tries to get Bobby back
Meanwhile, the McQueen family is plunged into despair as scheming Wendy Blissett (Jennifer Armour) still has a firm grip on Bobby Costello.
Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) goes above and beyond to win over her son Bobby (Jayden Fox), who has been spending time away from her.
The young mother turns to parenting books and podcasts in an attempt to get in his good graces and prove to Wendy she’s trying her best.
But she later loses her temper in front of the youngster after finding out she’s been lied to and even resorts to ambush him on a school trip to make him come back home.
Little does she know Wendy shares a plan with serial killer Silas for Bobby and a desperate phone call reveals just how elaborate it could be.
Sally tries to keep the peace at home and even asks for James’ help with Mercedes’ situation.
Yet a mediation is organised and Bobby is left to decide who will have custody of him.
What will he choose?

3. John Paul panics… and turns to booze
Could John Paul McQueen (James Sutton) be caught this week following his involvement in the bus crash?
John Paul’s alcohol addiction comes back with a vengeance this week and Prince is losing hope to help him.
All hell breaks loose for the Hollyoaks High deputy headteacher as Charlie Dean has footage of the crash which could be incriminating.
To make matters worse, John Paul tries to organise a fundraiser for Freya’s return to school, while the teen suffers from life-changing injuries after the crash.
John Paul starts to crumble under the pressure when his blackmailer relentlessly comes after him, and turns to alcohol again.
Things get worse when he drunkenly crashes the stage while Freya is making a speech.
He takes the microphone – but what will he announce?

4. Yazz looks for a new job
Budding journalist Yazz Cunningham (Haiesha Mistry) could move on to new projects this week.
It all begins when her husband Tom notices her punny menu for the café and wonders about her next career move.
But she struggles to keep her journalistic tendencies in check, which could sabotage her chances at a new job.
There’s more for her to worry about as she soon spots Zain gifting her mother a ribboned box.

5. Mason fails at magic
Elsewhere, Mason Chen-Williams (Frank Kauer) tries to impress with his magic but it may not have the desired effect.
When Ella can’t afford a dress from Sweater Thunberg, Mason decides to double her money with a magic trick – and things don’t go to plan.
Later, Honour tries to suss out what is going on with Mason and, as he practises for a magic show, he’s hit with another setback.
How will he overcome these obstacles?
