GOOD Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid was forced to step in and correct Richard Madeley today before an interview with a Labour MP.

Kim Leadbeater, the sister of murdered MP Jo Cox, appeared on today’s show to talk about an episode of Dispatches that shines a light on threats made to politicians.

Announcing the segment, Richard said: “Let’s go over and talk to Kim who…”

Those watching at home were unimpressed by the comments, and took to Twitter to slam him.
