KIDS of the 90s will remember tuning into Gladiators every Saturday night.
One very memorable star of the show was Jet, who has now revealed a horror fall which flattened her nose.
Jet – who’s real name is Diane Youdale – was one of the big stars of the show, and also became a pin-up.
But the brunette bombshell, 52, has now revealed all about a horror fall during a stunt on Gladiators called Pole Axe, which involved a 40 foot drop
Speaking about an accident she had while attempting this stunt, Diane told the Gladpod podcast: “I hadn’t kept my body tight when I hit the airbags.
“My knees literally went into my face and I broke my nose.
“A fall onto the crash mat and my nose was across my face.
“I had heard the crack, and I could see my nose out of my left eye.”

Diane was born in Billingham, a town in County Durham, back in 1970.
Following a career in gymnastics, dance and choreography, before fining fame on Gladiators.
After a glittering run on British telly, her on-screen alter-ego Jet was forced to retire after suffering an injury during the live Wembley Arena show in 1996.
Thankfully, the fitness fanatic was able to land presenting and acting roles following the accident.
Due to Diane’s popularity, it was no surprise that there was a demand to keep her on TV.
She played Billy in The New Adventures of Robin Hood in 1997, as well as presenting various dance shows and documentaries.
Diane also worked as a children’s telly host on Games World, You Bet! and Finders Keepers.
CHANGE OF CAREER
Even though she hung up her Lycra costume, the Gladiator star remained invested in sport.
In 2000, she worked as a PE teaching assistant with a specialism in dance and athletics.
Even though Diana’s interest in sports never waned, she decided to fulfil a life-long ambition to train as a psychotherapist.
After training at a hospital in Surrey, she began offering up workshops and seminars.
Diana was also a regular on Big Brother’s Bit On The Side.
