TELLY chef Jamie Oliver has finally found something that irks him more than turkey twizzlers.
He’s taken aim at takeaway delivery apps for fuelling bad diets during lockdown.
Jamie explains: “It’s never been easier to order dinner on that [a mobile phone].
“There’s no proof that those companies care about you. Convenience is the big driver and even cheap takeaways are expensive when you compare them to cooking.”
Speaking to the Radio Times to plug his new Channel 4 show The Great Cookbook Challenge, Jamie also revealed his feud with fellow chef Marco Pierre White is still simmering.
Marco labelled Jamie “delusional” for blaming Brexit over the collapse of his Italian restaurant chain.
Jamie said Marco was “an extraordinary talent” but added: “Never meet your heroes. Very sadly we don’t get on.”
