JOE Swash has revealed Storm Eunice has battered the surrounding areas around Pickle Cottage as fiancee Stacey Solomon works away from home.
The Dancing On Ice winner today braved winds of up to 70 mph winds on a walk around the couple’s new £1.2million Essex mansion.
Joe, 40, grimmaced in a video to his Instagram followers as he struggled to speak over the howling gusts.
He shouted: “What is happening here?
“This wind is unbelievable. Look!”
He then panned the camera around to show off a huge tree that had fallen onto its side and dozens of broken branches.
Joe added: “We’ve already lost a tree! What’s going on? This is madness.”
People across Essex and many parts of the UK have been urged to stay inside as a red weather warning is in place and multiple power cuts have been reported.
Stacey is currently away from home and has headed off with baby Rose, leaving Joe in charge of Leighton, Zach, Rex and the dogs at Pickle Cottage.
Not revealing what her new venture is, Stacey said: “I might be a little quiet for a few days, because at 5am this morning I started a new job. It’s not close to home so Rose and me will be away for a few days.
“Miss the boys and the fur boys so much already, but also praying for Joe who’s in charge of everyone and they break up for half term today.
“I’m not thinking about what I am going to come home to.”
She added: “Anyway I’m super nervous today and just learning the ropes and trying to do a good job so I’ll you know how it went later.”
Joe and Stacey are due to wed in the sprawling grounds of their new home in July.
