KATE Lawler has revealed her C-section scar and vowed never to remove it as she celebrated one of the “most special days of her life”.
The mother-of-one, who welcomed baby girl Noa with fiancé Martin last February, posed in her underwear in the emotional post.
Kate, 41, who rose to fame on Big Brother in 2002, showed off her scar as part of International Caesarean Section Awareness month.
Posing in a black bra and knickers, showing off her toned middle, she gushed over how she was “proud” of the scar on her lower stomach.
Documenting the birth of her daughter Noa, she explained that she had opted for a “planned, abdominal birth” for her first child.
“I was very lucky to heal quite quickly, despite the multicoloured bruising, pain and discomfort for the first three weeks,” she wrote.
“I’m proud of my scar and will never remove it permanently as it reminds me of one of the most special days of my life.
“This tiny red smile that I catch a glimpse of every day in the mirror still makes me feel in awe of what the female body is capable of.”
She concluded: “Like every woman, I want to feel confident and happy with my body so I embraced how I looked during pregnancy.
“I love my belly birth scar as without these, there would be no Tayto!”

The star went on to advertise scar reducer patches, as she said she was trying to help the scar naturally fade and “lighten it”.
It comes shortly after Kate opened up about suffering from postnatal depression – and struggled to cope with her new baby.
The mum-of-one admitted that she came close to “shaking” her daughter when she wouldn’t stop crying one day.
Reflecting on that time, she said: “I remember rocking her, going: ‘Shush, shush.’ But you’re just like: ‘Oh my god, please. What can I do?’
“The sound of a baby crying when you’re emotionally drained, when you haven’t slept and you already feel so depleted…
“You’re lacking energy and you’re hungry and you’re tired and your partner is sleeping next door and you’re thinking: ‘Oh my god, why am I doing this?’”
Despite doting on her daughter, Kate had been struggling with suicidal thoughts since Noa’s birth in February last year, and was shocked that she was on the brink of hurting her.
Writing in her debut book, Maybe Baby, she says: “I remember rushing into the bedroom and literally screaming: ‘I can’t do this any more!’
“I put Noa down on the bed firmly, in a way that made me realise I was so close to shaking her, and I ran upstairs to our loft, so scared at what I’d nearly done.”
This incident was the breaking point for the 41-year-old Virgin Radio DJ. Her partner of eight years, Martin “Boj” Bojtos, 38, insisted she needed professional help.
