Katie Price‘s appearance on Thursday’s Lorraine has been slammed by viewers after the reality star avoided jail for her drink-drive arrest.
The bankrupt model, who also avoided prison earlier this month when she struck a last-minute deal to pay off her debts, was a guest on the early-morning show to chat about her upcoming BBC documentary What Harvey Did Next.
However, many viewers quickly took to social media to question whether Katie should have been given a platform after she ‘endangered lives’ by flipping her uninsured BMW X5 into a hedge while disqualified and under the influence.
Hitting back: Katie Price’s appearance on Thursday’s Lorraine has been slammed by viewers after the reality star avoided jail for her drink-drive arrest
On the show, Katie chatted to Lorraine about her upcoming documentary with Harvey, which will air next month, while also unveiling the results of her recent eye and brow lift.
Her appearance sparked a flurry of reaction from viewers, who questioned how ITV could invite Katie to appear on the show given her recent legal troubles.
One wrote: ‘#Lorraine Why are you giving air time to Katie Price?. She doesn’t deserve it! Instant channel turn over. #NoThanks.’
‘Katie take responsibility for your own actions #lorraine,’ another posted.

A third commented: ‘Why the hell are you giving Katie price a platform. The amount of laws she has broken. I bet if it was a person of colour you would soon blacklist them. @ITV you’re a joke.’
‘Why oh why give Katie Price air time!’ one furious viewer tweeted.
A fan also wrote: ‘Katie Price continually breaks the law. Endangers lives by drink driving without a licence and insurance multiple times.
‘It’s only a miracle that she hasn’t killed anyone and you give this oxygen thief air time. Won’t be watching your show ever again!’

‘What other person with multiple criminal convictions other than Katie Price is constantly given airtime? And she still blames everyone else for everything she’s done #Lorraine,’ one viewer added.
Discussing her recent tweaks, the mother-of-five claimed that even though she’s been ‘picked on’ because of her new look, she has no plans to stop going under the knife.
As host Lorraine Kelly told her: ‘don’t have any more work’, Katie responded: ‘You sound like my mum.
‘I had a brow lift and my mum was like, ‘what are you doing that for?’ I said ‘mum, I’m in my 40s and I had my whole career natural except my boobs and I’m going to have surgery.’

‘I’m in my 40s so why not? Everyone knows I’m gonna do it and everyone picks on me for it but I’ll try these things. There’s so many people who have these tweaks and say ‘I’m natural’. Are you joking?’
Elsewhere in the chat, Katie also revealed her plans to have a baby with fiancé Carl Woods – days after he was charged with using ‘threatening and abusive behaviour’ towards her.
Carl issued a public denial on Instagram last week over claims of abuse and accused others of creating a ‘storyline’ – insisting they only had an argument in public.
Katie made no reference to the charges but insisted the pair were stronger than ever as she detailed their plans to expand their family.

In December Katie was given a 16-month prison sentence suspended for a year after pleading guilty to drink driving.
Magistrates said they were unable to send her to prison as she had completed a stay at The Priory having agreed to attend the rehab centre on her first court appearance.
Katie had flipped her BMW X5 while driving to see a friend near her Sussex home. It was her ninth driving offence.
She then avoided jail for the second time in weeks earlier this month after striking a last-minute deal to pay off her debts.

Katie was scheduled to explain to a High Court judge her attempts to pay back £2.3million she owed after being declared bankrupt in 2019.
But the former model had her bankruptcy hearing postponed for a second time after agreeing an 11th-hour deal to pay back the money.
She will pay a ‘small contribution’ to reduce the amount owed to creditors and has agreed to a new regular payment plan.
The reality star risked being sent to prison for contempt of court if she failed to appear at the hearing – which was due to be held remotely – without notifying the judge.
