Shortly before he became engaged to Kardashian, Barker sat down for an interview with Nylon where he noted that she had been able to convince him to conquer his fear of flying after being involved in a plane crash in 2008.
He expressed: ‘I’m invincible when I’m with her. It’s like I never dreamed, I never even considered flying again.’
The musician then noted that he had become so invested in his relationship that he was more than happy to take a trip with his now-fiancee at a moment’s notice.
‘I said, “Well, when the day comes you want to fly, I’m telling you I’ll do it with you. I would do anything with you. And just give me 24 hours’ notice.” And that’s what she did,’ he stated.
