LOVE Island fans have been left confused by Davide Sanclimenti and dumped Jay Younger’s bromance.
Eyebrows were raised when Davide admitted he’d be gutted to see Jay leave in the latest shake-up because he’s his best friend in the villa.
His worst fears were realised when the Islanders decided to send Jay and Chyna Ellis home instead of Dami Hope and Summer Botwe.
Davide and Jay got off on the wrong foot when the former’s partner Ekin-Su kissed the Scottish hunk behind his back on the terrace.
It led to an explosive showdown, and their budding romance was swiftly nipped in the bud.
After much grovelling on both sides, Ekin and Davide have since healed their romance and are giving it another go.

It appears Davide never harboured any ill-feeling toward Jay.
The muscular lads spent a lot of time working out together in the gym, but we rarely saw any meaningful conversations between them on the show.
Viewers shared their surprise, saying: “And the producers absolutely show us what they want because who knew that Davide and Jay were that close?”
