MAX George shared a smiley late night selfie with pal Tom Parker after The Wanted’s arena gig in Nottingham.

It came just hours after the singer revealed his brave pal is having to use a wheelchair as he continues his fight against brain cancer.

Sticking his tongue out and flashing a peace sign, shirtless Max wrote: “Nottingham, you were unbelievable!!! So much love in one room. Now for a Friday night spoon with @tomparkerofficial (who smashed it tonight!!).”

Tom beamed beside his mate with the pair on a high from the night’s show.

Fans loved it, with one writing: “The love you both have for each other is 🔥 love you boys so much ❤️❤️.”

Another said: “tomax is everything!! 🤍.”

A third posted: “So proud of you all!! Tom really is incredible.”

Earlier in the night, Tom, 33, was shown sitting in his chair wearing a beanie and a leather jacket.

Max played Justin Timberlake’s SexyBack over the story, which he captioned: “I mean…come on” followed by a heart eye emoji.

Max has been looking after his poorly friend, who he has called a “warrior”, while they are on tour together.

He joked the previous night: “Tom is just on his ninth meal of the day,” as Tom laughed while tucking into chicken and salad.

He also gave a message to Tom’s wife Kelsey, saying: “Just so you know Kels, the chips don’t get touched.”

Max also shared a sweet snap of the pair lying on the bed, commenting that they were having a “Netflix night”.

Tom has appeared with bandmates Jay McGuinness, Siva Kaneswaran, Nathan Sykes and Max on stage for their hit Glad You Came.

He missed the start of the group’s Most Wanted greatest hits tour last week to undergo pioneering treatment on his brain cancer in Spain.

But days later he made it to the show, nodding and smiling as his bandmates performed beside him.

The dad-of-two has undergone numerous rounds of chemotherpay and radiotherapy since being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour in 2020.

He has previously said he is shocked at the lack of treatment and funding for cancer patients in the UK.

A chemotherapy drug called Temozolomide has for 20 years been the standard NHS treatment for glioblastoma patients.

But treatments he recently received at a private facility in Spain include time in an oxygen machine, massages and a special diet.
