She has received rapturous praise from critics and audiences in recent weeks for her sci-fi/action hit Everything Everywhere All At Once.

And Michelle Yeoh was showered with more praise on Friday when Sandra Oh joined her for a tribute to her lengthy international film career at the San Francisco International Film Festival.

Michelle, 59, made sure she was the start of the evening with a colorful sequined dress, while Sandra, 50, opted for a more subdued ensemble for their conversation at San Francisco’s Spark Arts gallery.

Although Michelle has starred in numerous hits and classics throughout the years in Hong Kong and the US throughout the years — including Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, the James Bond film Die Another Day and Memoirs Of A Geisha — she has earned a new wave of plaudits for the indie dramedy Everything Everywhere All At Once.

She stars as a laundromat owner who struggles with her husband (Ke Huy Quan) to keep their business afloat and to pay their taxes.

But after she pushes aside her queer daughter (Stephanie Hsu) when she brings her girlfriend to her grandfather’s birthday party, an emissary from an alternate dimension alerts her that her business and family troubles are the least of her concerns.

Michelle had all eyes on her at the conversation thanks to her sparkling sequined dress, which featured a large red section with a black butterfly illustration, along with a smaller teal section covered with black stripes.
