PC Jack was called to a street assault, but finding out who was the suspect and who was the victim proved difficult.

Meanwhile, PCs Matt and Amelia found a bloody-handed youth on a bus after reports of a smashed window and PC Aj chased down a suspected house burglar.

While the show highlights how difficult the job can be, some viewers were left disappointed and outraged by the amount of swear words used by the coppers.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: “Never known anyone swear as much as the officer who qualified in 2020.

“The one who saw his brother out is lovely though. Don’t know their names #nightcoppers.”

A third tweeted: “#NightCoppers disappointed with the swearing from the police in tonight’s episode.”

Meanwhile a fourth shared: “Plenty of foul and abusive language on #Nightcoppers on #channel4. And that’s just from the police.

There comments come a week after viewers ripped into police’s ‘laughable’ response to man suspected of dealing Class A drugs.

Tuesday night’s episode saw Sergeant Andy and his partner stumble across a drug incident while on shift.

The police officers had suspected that the man was up to no good and decided to question him and search his car.

“Something’s not really adding up,” said Sergeant Andy.

He then asked the man if he had anything in the car, in which the man admitted he had drugs in the car, while the police searched the vehicle.

Sergeant Andy then asked: “What drugs do you have in the car.”
