Patsy Palmer shared her support for new Love Island star Luca Bish ahead of his ITV debut next week by posting a sweet message on her Instagram Stories.
It is unclear how the former EastEnders star, 50, knowns the Brighton-born fishmonger, 23, but the soap star sent her well wishes after the 2022 contestants for the hit reality show were revealed on Monday.
The star, who soared to fame playing Biance Jackson in the BBC soap, reshared Maria Bish’s post of Luca’s Love Island promo snap in a pair of pink trunks.

The YouTuber sweetly wished him luck on Instagram as she posted a message underneath his latest snap, which was shared by his sister who is currently managing his account.
Ahead of his arrival in the villa next week, Luca opened up about why he has joined the show following a failed romance.
He said: ‘I was enjoying being in a relationship, there were just things I didn’t like and we drifted apart,’ he says of is new single status. The Brighton boy is ready for a new romance, and has been inspired by the lasting love stories of previous Islanders.
‘When you actually look back at Love Island, you can see how many couples it’s genuinely made. I don’t know how many kids Love Island has made but there are a few aren’t there?’ he says.

‘I prefer to meet girls out and about,’ he says of his dating patterns. ‘I think when you go looking for it, it’s not as easy though, it’s like you’re too desperate for it.’
‘If I think you’re the one or I like you, I’ll take you out on a date but other than that, if we talk and I don’t like where it’s going – then I won’t be throwing out dates.’
Luca has already revealed he isn’t afraid to pull out all the stops to impress a girl he likes, telling how he once whisked a girl on a private plane for their first date.

He said: ‘I’ve taken a girl on a private plane for a first date. She wanted flying lessons. She flew the plane and I was in the back!’
The ladies in the villa may have their work cut out for them when trying to impress Luca as he has ‘high standards’ when it comes to romance.
Luca, who reckons his family would describe him as a ‘class clown’ and an ‘idiot’, is planning on being the jokester of the villa.

He said: ‘A lot of laughter hopefully. I like having a bit of fun, I’m not someone who takes everything too seriously. I want to have a good time there and make sure everyone else is – you don’t want anyone sulking about.
‘I don’t think I’m a bad looking geezer but I think it comes down to personality and who can actually hold a conversation – I think I’ll be good in the Villa.
