And Serena Williams taught her four-year-old daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian, Jr. the perfect form as she expertly nailed a backhand in a clip shared to Instagram on Monday.
Olympia was decked out in an adorable black tracksuit as she hit the court like a little pro in a quick clip captioned: ‘Practice makes progress.’

The budding tennis ace held her Wilson racket with two hands as she positioned herself for an incoming ball during a practice session.
Aunt Venus Williams was clearly impressed with her niece as she commented: ‘It’s Oracene all over again!’
Serena and Venus were famously coached from a young age by their father, Richard Williams, and mother, Oracene Price.

Serena is the youngest of five daughters, and Venus is the second youngest. They both grew up in the suburbs of Compton, California.
Olympia is following in her mother’s footsteps and took up the sport just last year amid the pandemic.
‘Honestly, we started because it’s a socially safe sport, and when COVID happened, it was like, we’re just in the house with a 3-year-old, what do we do?’ Williams told PEOPLE last year. ‘There was only one answer, to my dismay.’

She joked that she went into ‘tennis mom’ mode before Olympia’s first lesson and noted the instructor ‘has no idea that it’s my daughter, so we’ll see how that goes.’
‘I’m not a pushy mom, but I know how I like techniques, I want to make sure she’s good at teaching Olympia some techniques,’ she added.
