THE Barlow family is almost under literal fire as Adam becomes the target of an intimidation campaign.

1. Adam gets held at gunpoint
Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) gets the scare of his life next week.
The solicitor is harassed by a mystery enemy who doesn’t shy away from any form of vandalism.
But after his car windshield gets shattered into pieces, things take a horrifying turn when he is held at gunpoint in his office alongside Irman Habeeb (Charlie de Melo).

Both characters are shocked when their office gets raided and searched for a firearm by armed police following a tip-off likely to have been given away by Adam’s stalker.
The police turn Adam’s office upside down, prompting Imran and Adam’s wife Sarah (Tina O’Brien) to turn on him, blaming him for antagonising Jeremy Bremner.
Adam has been convinced that the latter – who has struggled to get over a boundary dispute he was involved in – is adamant on making his life a living hell.

2. Sarah is targeted by Adam’s mystery stalker
However, Adam won’t be the stalker’s only victim.
While he is encouraged to report the tormentor to the police by Imran, Adam decides to keep quiet after antagonising Jeremy who has admitted to keying his car.
And with Valentine’s Day on the horizon, Sarah is pleased when she receives a large bouquet of flowers in a vase.
But when she thanks Adam for the gesture, the solicitor is puzzled as the flowers were never sent by him.
This prompts Sarah to fish out for the card and a wave of dread overcomes when she reads its message: “Next bouquet will be for your funeral.”
With their flat door deadlocked, Sarah and Adam assume that whoever left the bouquet could still be there, meaning Sarah was trapped with the stalker.
The couple take action by changing their locks and, in an attempt to keep her safe, Adam urges her to leave with Harry and stay with her brother Nick Tilsley (Ben Price).
Nothing seems to stop the stalker as they let themselves into Sarah and Adam’s flat.
After snipping the heads off two roses, the tormentor leaves the couple another threatening note which reads: “Happy Valentine’s Day. It might be your last.”
Could this really be Jeremy Bremner?
Or is Lydia Chambers (Rebecca Ryan) causing more trouble for the pair?

3. Steve attacks Amy’s criminal boyfriend
Amy Barlow’s (Elle Mulvaney) secret boyfriend meets the parents next week.
The teen’s 18th birthday is fast approaching and her father Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) is determined to celebrate.
For the occasion, Amy’s mother Tracy (Kate Ford) sets up the Bistro alongside Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) and Carla Connor (Alison King).
This prompts Steve and Tracy to run back to No.1 to search for a candle for Amy’s cake.
But when they find the chain on the front door, Amy’s parents spot another person inside the home through the letterbox.
Fearing there may have been a burglary, Steve catches up with the intruder and races round the corner.
After intercepting the intruder’s escape, Steve tackles them to the ground in Rosamund Street.
Tracy and Steve are shocked to see a familiar face as the individual’s hood drops down.
Jacob Hay (Jack James Ryan) was the mystery intruder at No.1.
Steve sits on Jacob until the police arrive, while the young man assures he stole nothing.
While Tracy tried to do some digging around her daughter’s personal life in a bid to know more about her mystery boyfriend, her efforts were vain.
But Amy’s secret is about to come out.
When she learns of the incident and her birthday party is cancelled, Amy requests for some peace, sending Emma and her parents to the Rovers.
Amy calls the police to clear Jacob’s name confirms their relationship by kissing Jacob.
How will Steve and Tracy react?

4. Laura has devastating news
Kel Allen’s character has returned to the cobbles but her reunion with her on-screen daughter Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) is far from sweet.
Delighted by Stu’s (Bill Fellows) dinner offer at Speed Daal, Kelly heads out alongside her mother Laura, Gary (Mikey North) and Maria (Samia Longchambon) for a complementary meal.
But the meal soon turns stale as Laura claims she has stomach cancer and only has months to live.
Laura is wounded by Kelly’s disbelieving reaction when confronted with the upsetting news.
However, Kelly later admits to Gary she believes her mother looked ill enough to be telling the truth.
Gary responds with a reminder of her tumultuous relationship with Laura, stating Kelly owed her nothing as she has been a terrible mother to her.
But Kelly is then seen furtively leaving the flat.
Could this be a relapse for the former drug addict?

5. Sally pranks her mother-in-law
Sally (Sally Dynevor) is less than pleased by Elaine’s (Paula Wilcox) presence at No.4.
The latter moved in with Sally and her husband Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) to help her son recover from triple bypass surgery.
Based on their rocky relationship, neither women are set to get along smoothly.
Sally decides to send a subtle message to her mother-in-law by setting her up with a film prank.
She first tells Elaine that Tim’s favourite movie is Terms of Endearment, a 1983 film about a daughter’s controlling relationship with her overbearing mother.
Unaware of the film’s topic, Elaine innocently lines it up for a movie night with her son Tim and his pal Steve.
But both men are horrified when she tells them they’ll be watching Terms of Endearment.

6. Nina seeks help for her anxiety
The road to healing is long and farm from peaceful for Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher).
Still grieving the death of Seb Franklin, Nina has also been dealing with anxiety attacks and PTSD flashes in recent months following her violent attack.
This has led her to have a concerning behaviour with girlfriend Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey), and irrationally fear for her safety.
After her anxiety prompted her to lock Asha in the café, Nina becomes aware she has a problem and decides to seek the professional help she needs.
She can thankfully count on Roy Cropper’s (David Neilson) support when he offers to accompany her to her doctor’s appointment.
Later on, Nina announces that she is on the waiting list for counselling.
In the meantime, her doctor recommended she finds ways to tackle her anxiety.
But how will Nina cope before her first session?

7. Daniel bares all about Max’s accident
Back to the Barlow clan, Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) comes clean about an important detail linked with Max Turner’s (Paddy Bever) accident.
The Weatherfield High teacher calls in at No.8 with an apology, confessing he let a comment slip about David Platt’s (Jack P. Shepherd) rape during a conversation with the teenager.
The scene shocked and disgusted many ITV viewers and was followed by a heated argument which turned physical and led to Max falling down the stairs.
But while he assured Max’s fall was an accident, will he admit to his full responsibility in the fall?
