JAMES ‘Arg’ Argent has forked out £40,000 on a brand new Land Rover – even though he hasn’t passed his test.
Arg, 34, visited a swish car showroom and splashed out on the shiny motor despite not having a driving licence yet.

Sharing his exciting purchase with fans, the former Towie star posted a picture of himself standing next to his dark blue 4×4.
Wearing bright red trousers and a white T-shirt, newly-slimmed down Arg gushed: “Preparing for when I finally pass my driving test.
“I paid a visit to Rockstar Finance to get my dream car on order.”
Arg, who has lost 13 stone following a gastric bypass, passed his driving theory test in September 2018.
Telling fans his news, he revealed that it had taken more than 13 years and 10 fails for him to be awarded a pass.
Arg said on social media at the time: “IVE FINALLY PASSED MY CAR DRIVING THEORY TEST!!!😃
“After more then 13 years & 11 attempts, I’ve finally managed to do it! #Proud #Believe #Achieve.”
This was later followed by an appearance on E4’s All Star Driving School.
However, five years on and Arg still has not managed to pass his practical test. A photo of his theory test certificate had an expiry date of June 2020.

Instead of a car, Arg has spent years getting around on a moped.
However, he has suffered several prangs, including one smash in bad weather 2018 and another in 2011.
In May 2021, the reality star was left with cuts and bruises after suffering another road accident on his beloved baby blue Vesper.
Arg had learner plates on the moped at the time and it was later deemed to be an insurance write-off.
Previously he had been driving around on a white moped without tax or insurance.
