Kristen Stewart was snubbed by the Screen Actors Guild this year for her buzzy new performance as Princess Diana in Spencer.

The SAG Award nominations were released this Wednesday and as usual, some of the snubs have been as noteworthy as the nominations.

Pablo Larrain’s new movie Spencer cast Kristen, 31, as the late Princess Of Wales during a fateful Christmas at Sandringham.

As the festivities roll along she eventually comes to realize that her marriage to Prince Charles is broken beyond repair.

A similar Christmas was dramatized at the end of season four of The Crown, where Diana was played by Emma Corrin to critical acclaim.

Frances McDormand received a stunning snub for her performance as Lady Macbeth in her husband Joel Coen’s movie The Tragedy Of Macbeth.
