Kristen Stewart was snubbed by the Screen Actors Guild this year for her buzzy new performance as Princess Diana in Spencer.
The SAG Award nominations were released this Wednesday and as usual, some of the snubs have been as noteworthy as the nominations.

Adam McKay, who has lately helmed such films as The Big Short and Vice, put Meryl amid a cast headed up by Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence.
The whole ensemble, which also included Cate Blanchett and Tyler Perry, did get a nod for best cast in a motion picture.
However neither of the two leads scored a nomination for best actor or actress in a motion picture – two competitive categories this year.

Neither did Beanie Feldstein’s brother Jonah Hill, who had a supporting role as the Meryl character’s arrogant and incompetent son.
The Power Of The Dog also managed not to get a nod for best cast, despite being up for three out of the four individual acting categories in the motion picture bracket.
It got nominations for leading actor in a motion picture (Benedict Cumberbatch) as well as supporting actress (Kirsten Dunst) and supporting actor (Kodi Smit-McPhee).
