TEEN Mom Amber Portwood has continued to champion ex Gary Shirley with messages of “love and light” and prayers after her baby daddy’s recent serious surgery.
Gary, 35, shares daughter Leah, 13, with Amber, 31, and despite their rocky relationship, the pair have united after numbness in his hands forced the need for a major operation.

The MTV star’s new wife Kristina has updated fans, telling them the carpal tunnel surgery went well and he is “back home and resting.”
This led Amber, who appeared with Gary on 16 & Pregnant, to again take to her Instagram page in a dignified show of support.
The Teen Mom uploaded an image of neon angel wings and added the touching words: “❤️Sending love to everyone today. Sometimes we all need a little extra help and love.
“✨I ask of all my beautiful souls to please pray or meditate or do a mantra..it doesn’t matter what your beautiful religion is or if you may have other beliefs.
“🙏🏽Please send all of your love positivity and encouraging words for me, my family and especially @itsgarytime @kristina_shirley3 for his recovery from bi lateral carpal tunnel surgery.
“Let’s send them all the light and love for the ease of any pain and pray that he can get back to the things he loves most super soon!

Fans were quick to support her latest olive branch after her tumultuous split from Gary and his subsequent custody of their daughter.

MEDICAL DRAMA
On Friday, Kristina posted a series of photos from inside the hospital as well as a few post-procedure pics as she provided a medical update.
She revealed that the Teen Mom dad underwent a “bilateral endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery.”
The procedure was planned and went well, according to her post.
“Today @itsgarytime had his bilateral endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery. His surgery went as planned thankfully. He was entertainment for the Doctors, Nurses and staff to say the least.
“He’s back home now and resting. I feel like I’ve got a baby boy to take care of and nurse back to health,” she shared in the caption.
Amber also commented on the post, showing support for Kristina.
Gary’s ex commented: “You sure do @Kristina_shirley3 thank you for my goofy pic earlier lol but he has a great nurse to take care of him and some little helpers too.”
Gary and Amber have had a rocky relationship, though it’s gotten better as of late.
Amber and Kristina have also partly made amends too, with the Teen Mom OG uploaded a sweet comment on the pair’s recent rare romantic snap.
GARY’S HEALTH WOES
Gary revealed that he was having surgery shortly before the procedure.
He shared the news with fans in a video featuring daughter Emilee on Thursday.
Gary revealed he suffers from carpal tunnel syndrome – a common condition that causes pain, numbness and tingling in the hands and arm.
The condition occurs when one of the major nerves to the hand — the median nerve — gets squeezed or compressed as it passes through the wrist.
The father-of-two said he’s having bilateral carpal tunnel surgery, which means both of his wrists will be operated on in one session of general anesthesia.
“I’m hoping they can heal up at the same time and that way I can use my hands faster,” the MTV star told his fans.
“I don’t have a lot of strength in my hands sometimes and sometimes I wake up and they’re numb.”
