TEEN Mom fans are thinking Catelynn Lowell’s daughter Nova, seven, looks like Catelynn’s mother April’s TWIN in a recent rare snap.
Catelynn’s eldest daughter looks uncannily like her grandmother as Nova has dyed her hair purple.
As a photo of Nova’s new hair made it onto Reddit, fans commented on the girl’s new look – although many thought she was the spitting image of her grandmother, April.
One said: “April’s mini-me.”
A second agreed and commented: “I was just gonna leave the same comment. She really looks exactly like the grandma.”
Yet a third said: “This is April.”
Even a fourth posted: “All I see is April in this picture.”
ALL ABOUT APRIL
April appeared on several episodes alongside Catelynn and Tyler on episodes of 16 & Pregnant and Teen Mom.
She was super controversial on the show as she was even once married to Tyler’s dad Butch.

Catelynn’s mother, April, and Tyler’s father, Butch, also started a relationship after meeting through their children, and wed in 2009.
In an Instagram Live, one follower once asked Catelynn: “Is it weird you married your stepbrother?”
But Catelynn wasn’t having any of it and replied: “I didn’t marry my step brother, I don’t know what you are talking about.”
Catelynn and Tyler began dating in 2005 in 7th grade and at the age of 16 found out they were expecting a baby.
But months after they began dating at the age of 12, their parents began dating as well.
April and Butch divorced in 2013.
BUTCH BEHIND BARS
Earlier this past April, Butch pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol.
Butch, whose real name is Darl, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, open container and driving with license suspended in Michigan on March 4, 2020.
The Sun previously exclusively revealed Butch accepted a plea deal in the case.
He pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol.
The driving with license suspended and open container charges were dismissed.
In the court papers obtained by The Sun, Tyler’s dad must undergo screening and assessment to determine if he will “benefit from rehabilitative services.”
He will be sentenced on May 4, 2022.
DUI ARREST
In the police report obtained by The Sun, an officer observed a white Ford van at 5:30pm swerving and accelerating heavily.
When the police officer made contact with Butch, he appeared “confused” and told him he was not familiar with the area.
Butch claimed he was driving a friend’s van and he was using the vehicle for work.
The MTV star told the officer that he had only been in Michigan for a couple of weeks and did not reveal that he used to live there.
The police report read: “As I spoke to him it appeared that he had watery, bloodshot eyes.”
The officer told Butch he will be placed under arrest for his suspended license and a bench warrant.
The police report claimed he “hesitated” getting out of the van and “started moving things.”
When Butch complied after being “ordered” out of the van, the officer “smelled a faint odor of intoxicants from his person.”
The cop’s narrative continued: “I looked into the car and observed a spilled drink (later discovered to smell of mixed alcoholic drink) and scattered ice cubes behind the passenger seat.
“The spray pattern of the drink appeared as if it had been cast from the driver seat. There was also a moderate odor of intoxicants coming from the driver seat area.”
Butch refused a breathalyzer, but agreed to field sobriety tests.
A pocket knife was confiscated from Butch.
While in booking, Butch again refused a breathalyzer and blood test, as officers issued a warrant for the seizure of his blood.
According to the report, the results revealed he had 0.041 grams per 100 millimeters of alcohol.
Also detected were THC, amphetamine and desmethyldiazepam.
In Butch’s mugshot obtained by The Sun, he appeared disheveled, and had bloodshot and watery eyes.
Butch posted a $5,000 personal bond.
On November 10, 2021, he entered a plea of not guilty.
The prosecutor on the case filed a “noticed to seek sentence enhancement,” according to court papers, because of his past home invasion conviction in 2001, and breaking and entering a building with intent to commit larceny convictions in 2002 and 2006.
Butch could get one to five years for operating under the influence of alcohol, one year for driving with license suspended and 90 days for open container, plus fines, community service and/or substance abuse screening.
FOUR, NO MORE
As for Catelynn and Tyler, they’ve decided to call it quits with kids.
Catelynn announced Tyler had undergone a vasectomy in a TikTok video.
The camera first hovers over the couple’s seven-month-old daughter, Rya, lying on the couch beside her father.
The lens then pans over Tyler, who has a serious expression on his face while holding his phone.
The father-of-four then breaks out into laughter upon realizing he is being recorded.
The shot scales down to capture Tyler holding an icepack to his private parts as he continues to smile.
Tyler again hysterically laughs, appearing to be in pain.
Catelynn verified that her husband had the procedure with the song, Vasectomy by Jon Brett playing in the background.
She also made her feelings on the subject clear in the caption: “#nomorebabiesforme.”
Some fans were devastated to learn the Teen Mom OG stars won’t be adding to their brood, as one wrote: “What??? No more babies,” with a couple of crying face emojis.
A second person echoed their disappointment, commenting: “Noooo we wanted to see a boy.”
A third agreed, adding: “Awe no, I always looked forward to y’all adding to the family.”
