TEEN Mom star Ryan Edwards has faced backlash from fans over his treatment of his firstborn son Bentley.
The father-of-three’s behavior was highlighted in a re-emerged video from the MTV series.

Ryan, who shares 13 year old Bentley with his ex Maci Bookout, struggled with addiction for much of the teen’s life.
Fans were reminded of the former TV star’s behavior when a Reddit user posted the archival clip.
In the scene, Ryan talks to his friend’s about his son’s upcoming start to the school year, admitting that he didn’t plan to accompany the first grader.
“I mean, I doubt I’m going to wake up and get in the car with Maci [Bookout] and drop him off at school; no, probably not,” the young dad confessed, adding that the situation would be “awkward.”
He further explained that it would be “hard to meet up” with his ex to send their son off on his first day.
Ryan continued to downplay the occasion, telling his friends: “It’s just his first day in another grade.”
Critics ripped apart the Teen Mom OG alum for his comments, calling out the MTV star for his “selfish” attitude.
One person commented: “Bentley will remember who showed up for him and who was absent in his life. ryan should be ashamed.”

BAD DAD?
Ryan’s lack of enthusiasm about fatherhood has played out on the long-running series, as fans watched him struggle to connect with the youngster.
Last week, a clip re-emerged of Ryan awkwardly hugging the little one goodbye before rushing to leave a restaurant.
The reality star stood up from the table as his mom Jen said: “Give Bentley a hug.”
The TV personality walked around the table saying: “Bye, see ya,” before leaning down to give his son a quick side embrace.
After exiting the scene, Ryan’s father, Larry, looked furious as his legs shook in anger under the table.
“Why are you shaking?” Bentley asked, to which Larry replied: “Cause I’m over it?”
“You mean daddy?” the child asked as his grandfather turned to the MTV crew.
“Did you get this on camera? Do you believe that bull crap?” he asked a show producer.
Jen then chimed in, saying: “Hey Larry.”
“I believe he’s got attitude,” he shot back.
“Stop,” Jen said, ending the conversation.
Backlash erupted on Reddit as users slammed the reality star less-than-enthusiastic hug.
“Wtf are u telling your grown son to hug his child ? So pathetic,” one trolled.
“He gave him a hug as if he barely even knew Bentley. That s**t was heartbreaking,” a second confessed.
A third ranted: “What a piece of s**t,” while another complained: “If ANYONE in my kids life ever hug him like that it’d be the last time they saw him.
“How f**king embarrassing to be a father who can’t even be bothered to fully embrace their son.”
“Bentley wanted more from his dad. You can tell by the way he watches him walk away, his eyes saying ‘That’s all?’ So very heartbreaking to watch,” a final noted.
Ryan’s drug use caused a strain on the family as he underwent several stints in rehab for treatment.
He was later fired from the franchise amid the drama with his ex Maci, 30, and her husband Taylor McKinney, 32.
SWEET MOMENT
The 34-year-old recently resurfaced in a rare photo with his daughter Stella, one.
Ryan’s wife, Mackenzie, 25, posted the snap with their daughter sitting on his brand new motorcycle.
The proud dad kissed his baby girl, who donned a green outfit with her long blonde hair in a ponytail.
Mackenzie wrote: “Just a dad, his daughter, and his Harley,” along with a back heart emoji.
The couple is also parents to three year old son Jagger.
