TIPPING Point fans joined host Ben Shephard who was in shock when a contestant got a very easy answer wrong.
Ben, 47, couldn’t stop laughing when Tipping Point player, Kendelle, couldn’t name which monarch was on the throne when Tony Blair was prime minister.
The host asked: “Who was the ruling British monarch when Tony Blair was Prime Minister?”
A nervous Kendelle hesitated and replied: “Erm, Queen Victoria.”
The Good Morning Britain presenter couldn’t believe what he was hearing after telling the correct answer – Queen Elizabeth II.
Viewers watching at home roasted the English teacher whose nerves were clearly on display.
“Queen Victoria? That’s up there with the worst answers on #TippingPoint,” wrote one fan on Twitter.
Another added: “I can’t believe she thought Tony Blair was PM when Queen Victoria was on the throne #TippingPoint.”
And a third wrote: “Am I dreaming? Did she really say Queen Victoria #tippingpoint.”
The ITV game show see four contestants take on the Tipping Point machine to try and win as much money as possible.
Kendelle was eventually knocked out in the second round with her teammates, Johnny and David facing off in the third round.
It was Johnny who made it into the final who played it safe by opting for £2,900 rather than risk losing everything by going for £10,000.
But at the end of the game, Ben showed how the game would’ve played out and sadly for Johnny he could have won big if he’d been bolder.
