TOM Parker’s widow Kelsey has revealed she is on her first holiday since he passed away
The grieving wife of the late The Wanted star took to Instagram to say she was attending a pals wedding, and called it “bittersweet”.
Her husband Tom, sadly died aged 33 from brain cancer in March, leaving behind Kelsey and their two kids.
Last night Kelsey revealed she had headed to Ireland to attend her best friend’s wedding, but knew she was going to find the weekend “hard” – especially as Tom was meant to be an usher.
Taking to Instagram she posted a clip of herself talking to the camera, where she said: “Hey guys, so I’ve just got to Ireland today.
“I’ve come to Ireland for my best friend’s wedding Ruth Ann and Ollie’s wedding.
“Yep it’s gonna be a really weird weekend for me, obviously it’s gonna be a bittersweet.
“Because obviously Ruth and Ollie are getting married, and I’m super happy for them, but Tom was meant to be here this weekend, he was meant to be an usher.
“It’s gonna be the first event, wedding, that I’ve actually been to, without him. being with me.
“So yeah, this weekend is going to be a tough one.”

Earlier this month brave Kelsey opened up Loose Women about life without her beloved husband.
Speaking to the panel she said: “He has given me so many signs… car alarms go off at four in the morning, I tell him ‘not at four in the morning Tom!.
“I do talk to him. I think that’s a release as well. To talk to him, and I can feel him there.”
She added: “I know he had terminal cancer, but this came as a massive shock to us. I didn’t think this was going to be the end.
“I think I definitely am probably still in shock.”
In 2020 the devoted husband and dad’s world was torn apart when he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.
The couple wanted to make the most of every moment with his family and his bandmates even performing on a final tour.
Tom’s condition deteriorated and he died on March 30 with his wife holding his hand.
Kelsey spoke about how she has remained strong for their kids Aurelia, two, and baby Bohdi, telling viewers she gets her strength “from within.”
She added: “I feel strong, I’m just getting through each day. I have the kids. I have to wake up each day, I have to get on with it, just trying to be as strong as possible in a really difficult situation and time for us all.”
