HIT BBC drama The Split is back for one final series.
Season 3 will see Nathan Dafern and Hannah Defoe navigate their own marriage breakdown following the explosive second series.
When does The Split series 3 start on BBC One?
The Split returns to BBC One and BBC iPlayer from 9pm TONIGHT (April 4, 2022).
You can watch series one and two now on iPlayer.
Series three will be the directorial debut of show writer Abigail Morgan OBE, also known for her work on Suffragette, The Iron Lady, and Shame.
A synopsis of the new series released by BBC says: “As Hannah and Nathan begin to divide up their twenty years together, Hannah faces what she is about to lose and a shocking revelation dramatically changes the stakes.
“As the battle lines are redrawn, we wonder if their dream of achieving the ‘good divorce’ is even possible.
“Will they find a path through the wreckage, or is The Split simply too deep to repair?”
Who stars in the third series of The Split?
Stephen Mangan and Nicola Walker will reprise their roles as Nathan Dafern and Hannah Defoe for the third series.
Annabel Scholey and Fiona Button will return as Defoe sisters Nina and Rose alongside family matriarch Ruth, played by Deborah Findlay.
Other returning cast members include Chukwudi Iwuji as Noble Hale Defoe boss Zander Hale and Barry Atsma as Hannah’s love interest Christie Carmichael.

Will there be another series of The Split?
BBC announced in February 2022 that the third series of The Split will be the last.
Nicola told Good Housekeeping: “I can’t wait to be back in the Defoe Family, we are all looking forward to the journey Abi has planned for us.
“I don’t know if Hannah will cling to the wreckage or walk away, but I do know it’s going to be a fantastic ride.”
