THE 2022 grand final of ITV’s Dancing On Ice is set to hit the small screen a week later than planned.

The fourteenth series finale will see Kimberley Wyatt, Brendan Cole and Regan Gascoigne battle it out for the trophy.

What time does Dancing On Ice start?

Dancing On Ice 2022 made its return to primetime Sunday nights on January 16 2022.

After the traditional ten-week long competition, the final was supposed to be broadcast on Sunday March 20, 2022 but was pushed off air to make way for the FA Cup final between Liverpool FC and Nottingham Forest.

The week-long delay means that the final of ITV’s Sunday favourite will take place on Sunday March 27 2022.

The programme be broadcast on ITV at 7pm.

The competition – hosted by ITV favourites Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby – first aired in 2006, with Coronation Street‘s Gaynor Faye crowned first ever champion.

Dancing On Ice 2022 has seen a total of 12 celebrities take part.

After ten weeks of judges scores and public votes just three are in the grand final.

Former Pussycat Doll Kimberley Wyatt, Strictly Come Dancing veteran Brendan Cole and professional dancer Regan Gascoigne are the three celebrity skaters in the 2022 final.

Who are the Dancing On Ice judges?

Former Olympic ice skaters Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean have featured as judges on the show since its inception in 2006.

Diversity dancer and choreographer Ashley Banjo joined the judging panel in 2018, and in 2022 Strictly Come Dancing professional Oti Mabuse joined too, replacing John Barrowman.

The judging panel had a shake-up when it was revealed Barrowman had been axed from the show.

ITV was under pressure to remove him as a judge when accusations of sexual harassment surfaced from his time on the set of Doctor Who.

He later admitted to exposing himself several times on set, but denied any sexual intent, dismissing the act as “tomfoolery”.

Who won Dancing On Ice 2021?

Radio presenter Sonny Jay Muharrem was crowned the 13th winner of the show when he came out on top in the 2021 series.
